Samantha Beste grew up in Manhattan, beginning life-drawing and anatomy classes at 11 years old at the Art Students League of NY. At 14 she was accepted into the Hunter College Florence Summer Studio Art & Art History Program, which inspired her to leave high school at 16 and return to Italy to study painting. She spent two years living in Florence and painting at S.A.C.I.. Samantha then moved back to America to pursue her BFA at Cleveland Institute of Art in Ohio, where she painted in the old Ford Factory for a year and a half, before being awarded a gallery internship for a year in NYC. Samantha then continued her studies in Canada, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Art at Nova Scotia College of Art & Design, in Halifax, N.S..

Samantha has exhibited in New York and abroad ( particularly in London, England, where she lived for a decade after art school). Samantha is now based in Beacon, N.Y.
